Proof of Concept

Those willing to benefit from a hands-on experience of federated learning applied to real data can take advantage of a “proof of concept” training session, which will take place on the morning of the first day of the workshop at IMT School before the start of the of keynote speeches and paper sessions.

Using real survey data, we will offer an example of how federated learning can be used to analyze data in a decentralized and privacy-preserving way.  Using federated learning, we will show how it is possible to train a machine learning model on the existing data, treating regional units as their own nodes that do not share data among them.
